On Saturday, I finally got round to making the crepe cake I spoke about in my crepes post πŸ˜†

Here is the recipe I used.

I’m really pleased with how it turned out, so I wanted to share it with you! Also, it was a really long process to get these done hehe (about 12 hours 😱 with many many breaks in between like going for tuition and eating meals- also the whipped cream came out runny and I had to let it set in the freezer for a while)

Here are some photos!!

The colourful bowls of batter.

Some close up shots.

Whoops this came out a little weird πŸ˜‚ my brother and mum ate it.

I forgot to take a photo of yellow because it looked a lot like orange so I guess I got confused heh.

A photo of me frying the crepe 😁

Here is the assembled crepe cake!

I don’t like taking photos at night coz of all the shadows so I turned off all the kitchen lights and used flash on my phone 😜 turned out pretty great, I think.

Sorry about the darkness πŸ˜›

Those last three photos were taken Sunday morning, when my mum cut open the cake to reveal this colourful, pretty cake. The lights were on, but I used flash to take them because it makes the subject the main focus πŸ˜‰

Overall, although making this was a frustrating and hard experience, at least I tried something new and it tastes goooooood. Next time the cream needs to be less runny though πŸ˜›

This is probably one of the hardest things I have ever made but I’m quite happy with how it turned out!

Hmm, I wonder what I shall try next?

Have you ever made a crepe cake? Do you think I succeeded? What was the last thing you ate? XD
