Hello everybody! 😀
Welcome to my blog. Today, I will be doing a certain kind of post I haven’t been doing for a looooooong time. AN INTERVIEW WITH REAL PEOPLE. And an animal too 🙂
Amie over at Crazy A just published a book called Snowball and the Missing Apple featuring her very own pet rabbit, and I immediately signed up for this adorable little tour! For my part of the tour, I’ll be doing an interivew which is down there *points down* You can read about the book and the author on the way there 😉
About the Book:
Snowball loves apples. When his apple goes missing, he knows that he must find who took it. A charming children’s book with funny pictures, an engaging message, and animals. Perfect for early readers or to read aloud to your 2-5 year old.
About the Author:
Amie is a coffee-drinking animal lover that strives to work on her musical and artistic abilities. You can find her blogging at https://crazya.blog
Questions are in bold, answers are in normal font, and my comments are in italics.
Let’s begin with Snowball, the star of the book.
Do you like baths?
Where in Amie’s house do you live? (under the couch, on her bed, in a cage, etc.)
How did you and Amie meet?
What does your diet consist of?
If your name wasn’t Snowball, what would you have liked it to be?
That is a very good question. Perhaps I would have wanted to be named Hedgcock, or Lewis…Or maybe we could go even deeper into my reading habits and I would have been named Calvin or Sproul!
Ooh interesting choices!
What inspired you to write this book?
Well, I decided to join a picture book contest, and Snowball said, “Make a book about me!”
How long did it take you to put together the entire book?
It took me…Nine months? Yeah, nine months, though a lot of that time I wasn’t doing anything with the book.
How did you feel when you were in the process of publishing this book?
Mostly excited, but also a little nervous…Would people like it? Were my drawing abilities as good as they needed to be?
Those definitely seem like thoughts people would have when publishing a book 😉
Besides rabbits, what are some of your favourite animals? (list not more than 3, preferably)
Do you prefer waffles or pancakes?
Hard questions! The answer is neither, but if there’s no way to get out of it, I’d go with pancakes.
Personally, I love….. both 😀
