Why I Changed to Contact Lenses- Is There a Difference?

Eye of my brother

Hey everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the new year and getting used to writing “2019” on your paper. I know I’m still sort of struggling with that πŸ˜›

Anyway, today in my post I’m gonna be talking about contact lenses. So obviously I’m wearing them because I wouldn’t talk about something I’m not familiar with.

Why I Changed to Contact Lenses-:

I play a lot of sports, and wearing glasses while playing sports is actually pretty uncomfortable and inconvenient. You can read my post on the disadvantages of wearing glasses for more on that.

That’s basically my only reason. Everything else is pretty ok with glasses.

Is there a Difference?

There’s definitely a difference. When I play sports, there is no more trouble of it getting broken and dropping off my nose.

Just like almost everything in life, wearing contacts comes with a price. In this case, it’s the responsibility of keeping these delicate things clean and safe, and having to put them in and take them out of my eyes everyday.

So there you have it! Why I changed to contact lenses. They come with quite a bit of maintenance, but I think that’s quite a valid price for something that will give me convenience in life.

Of course, this is my own personal reason for wearing contact lenses in general, and it’s different for everyone.

Thank you so much for reading, and have a great day! πŸ˜€

Do you wear glasses or contact lenses? Like my featured image? xD

  1. I wear contacts too, Starling! I’ve worn glasses for a while, but they actually started giving me headaches (plus they get dirty so easily, and they kinda make me look like a nerd lol-but I think everyone else looks cute in them) so I changed to contacts.

  2. I wear glasses, but my sister and my one friend like wearing contact lenses better. Personally, I don’t think I could get myself to put them into my eye. *shudder* I don’t know how other people can do it.
