Hello there!
Merry Belated Christmas!!
I couldn’t post yesterday because I was at church and after I came home, I was too tired.
So here’s the post!
Yesterday, we went to church. The choir sang a lot of songs and halfway, the head pastor of our church came and gave a sermon.
Here’s something I remember he said:
A drowning man can’t be saved by another drowning man. He needs someone who can swim to save him.
We are like that drowning man and Jesus is that person who can swim.
We’re drowning in sin. Jesus can come and save us because he “can swim.”
(Just an illustration)
God wants to have a relationship with us. However, because He is a righteous God and we are so sinful and unholy, He can’t. So He sent his one and only Son down to Earth to die on the cross for our sins so that we can go to Heaven.
Because of Jesus, we can now have a relationship with God. We can also go to Heaven and have eternal life now. How?
Just by accepting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Saviour. You can go to this page to do so. (Using Madi’s page. All credits to her XD)
Christmas is the day we celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth. There’s a reason Christmas is called Christmas 😉
Presents!
Didn’t I say I would virtually share my presents with you? Pictures below aren’t mine.
This Xmas, I received…
- A Bible study kit which included: a notebook, 2 highlighters, 1 pen, and a stack of papers for verses
- A plaster block that has my real name engraved onto it, and the first letter of my name made out of wire
- Gingerbread cookies
- Toblerone chocolate
- M&M’s
- Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children
Has anyone read Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children? I want to, but I’m scared I’ll get creeped out. I’ve already watched the movie, though 🙂
My Water Baptism Experience
On the 24th of December, I got baptised along with my dad and brother. In my church, you have to be baptised fully immersed in water before you can join the church.
The water was heated! This is the first time they’re using heated water to baptise. It was a good thing too, because I was shivering on stage (from the cold and nervousness hahaha)
2018 is in 5 more days, people!!! And so are my friends’ birthdays. Yeah, they’re born on the 1st of January. No, not twins. Which reminds me, I need to find birthday gifts for them! 😛
Happy Christmas!
How did your Christmas go? Have you read Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children? Excited for 2018?
Wow!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS LATE! And wow, my church does baptism by immersion too!!!

So what exactly is Baptism?
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a great book!

Baptism is an outward sign of your inner faith in Christ. There are several types of baptism: water baptism, sprinkling, pouring water on the head, etc.
Great to hear that!
