Hello there!
This week, I have decided that I am gonna do a little 3 day series about being different. I will post about how I am different in 3 different areas. Monday (today), Tuesday, and Thursday are the days I will post this 3 days series (Weird Wednesday is still on, don’t worry)
The purpose of my 3 day series is to encourage others to be Different. Unique. Special. I will explain more on the last day of this series. And also why I used a salmon in the featured image.
I just realised how weird different was spelt. Ah well 🙂
Just some different quotes to kick start this 3 day series^^^
Being Different #1- Blogging
Today, I will be sharing about how I am different in blogging.
You may or may not have noticed I’m not your average blogger. But that’s just me. I like being different.
I will explain what I do or don’t do that makes me your non-average blogger.
I Don’t Use Schedules/Plan
Why? I like improvising and thinking on the spot. That doesn’t mean I don’t plan; I do. It’s just that I think about what I’m gonna post next before I’m gonna sleep, or when I open up WordPress 😀 The thing is, if I use a schedule I might not be able to think about what I want to post on that day, so I can’t fill in those blank spaces.
When I have an idea, I use it! If I don’t that’s totally fine. I can just Google some post ideas up (which I have only done once and that was because I was desperate) Usually, I already know what I want to post, so no pressure there. (except for this 3 day series thingy. I just thought of it just now!)
I Don’t Do Rants
Rants are pretty common. It’s fun to do, but I just feel it’s not my thing. Coz I also don’t have much to rant about. Not that my life is perfect. I just want to be thankful for all the things I have, so I don’t rant. Because according to Google, rant means to speak or shout at length in an angry, impassioned way. I don’t want to do that (in real life is way better XD)
I Don’t Use Featured Images
This is something you guys definitely know, because I posted about it. So, not much needs to be said here. If you haven’t read it, you can click the link on Featured Images! 😀 Although I just used a featured image in this post, it’s only coz this is a series so I’ll be using it quite a few times.
Even though I am different, people still accept me. They even love my blog (I have 180 followers- thanks, you guys!) and in a Starling blog survey someone took, they said they liked my personality! That’s once of the nicest things someone has ever said to me! 😀
That about wraps it up for the first ever edition of Being Different! I hope you guys enjoyed it and learned something coz I spent about 1 hour +++ writing and editing this post and I missed some time of writing for NaNo so that I achieve my goal 🙂
Do you like the Being Different series? Do you relate to any of the above (I’m guessing no) Any guesses why I used a salmon in my featured image?

P.S Yes, my sign off is still under construction. But I’ve got a new blog icon, button, and header! Carol designed them. Thank you, fellow Asian! 😛 And I updated my wallpaper in my blog!
P.P.S Saanika started a new blog. You can check that out as well!
I love your writings … 💗

Liked this! I don’t have a featured image on all my posts, just contests and important stuff like that.

Loved reading this! There are so many similar bloggers out there, and it is great that you are just being yourself. I actually don’t plan posts either, I just do it on a whim when I feel like it. 😉 Love the quotes you shared!

This is great idea! I followed you for your personality for sure! When I read your posts, I feel like you’re talking to me in person! It’s something about the way you write!

Wow! I can’t wait to read 2 and 3! I don’t like schedules either, they make me feel tied down. (Except for OBD and FJF, those are the only two posts that are actually recurring). I also like Featured Images, that would be where we disagree XD I also like ranting, kind of just pouring my heart out on my computer is fun for me…..GL on NaNo!

I agree – being different is wonderful! I also think that you have a very lovely personality. 🙂 I never hang around people who make me feel like I have to act different – it just doesn’t work for me.

Nah, I can’t. I go to bed at 10 doing homework right now as it is…and I hardly have time for blogging or writing my real novel. I was thinking maybe next year, but then again, maybe not….
